I've yet to make one each for these two boys. Here they are at the entrance to the kitchen waiting for their dinner.
Rufus on the left is quite a sturdy dog, and his coat is nice and thick so he doesn't always need a bedtime coat. The houses here are so well insulated that they retain their heat efficiently. Paddy however has a very thin coat and doesn't have all his hair so he can feel the cold a bit. So he will need one.
No sewing today. I spent some time in the kitchen. I made a loaf. It must be over a year since I made any bread. This is an extremely simple recipe, one of Delia's. There's only one small piece left! I also made some carrot and lentil soup and an orange and chocolate cake, neither of which I photographed. Next time...

Your dogs look lovely-they are being very good for their photos.
My photos were taken just down the road on the banks of the Thames at North Greenwich. I just couln't believe how blue the sky looked-I don't remember when I took the pictures but it must have been the summer. We often go down there for a bit of beachcombing. That sculpture is not always there. The building on stilts is a yacht club. Stay warm!

How nice of you to make a cozy coat for your baby. It is still way too warm here(85 tonight)....in fact we don't get much cold weather all year long. My four legged girl does not need a coat....her own keeps her too warm and she is always shedding it all over the house.
Your bread and soup must have just wonderful on a cool day. I bet it really warmed you up.
Have a nice weekend. We are having hot Santa Ana winds again but hopefully they will let up soon. I would gladly trade some of your cold for some of our heat....want to trade???

I'm a fellow Greyhound lover and our family is waiting for the adoption group we're going through to send one our way. We had a sweet Grey named Sasha several years ago and are now at long last, impatiently, waiting for our second Grey....Come on over for tea with me at the society anytime and dogs are always welcome, especially Greyhounds:^)....
