Foggy Starts

I took these photos on Tuesday
after an early start.
Mike and I were up at
3.45 a.m.
so I could take him to the airport
for his flight to the UK.
 Rufus looks as though
the early start tired him out.

It was foggy on the way to the airport,
but this eventually lifted
and we got some lovely sunshine
later in the day.
So I took the camera with me on our afternoon walk.
I tethered the dogs while I took a couple of photos.
Unfortunately, my foot got caught in one of the leads
and I fell flat on my face.

After the walk,
I took the hounds to our bit of land so they could have a run.
The next three photos show Jess and Paddy having a run together.

Rufus and Arthur seem more interested in a hole under the fence.
They were fixated on it.
Maybe they were watching for a mouse or something.

The weather has followed the same pattern since Tuesday,
foggy starts followed by sunshine.
Somehow the grey seems to be in for today though.

I have a bad back for a while
which restricts time spent at the computer.
But for some reason it's worse this week.
It's not helped by the photos not loading,
it takes an age.
Which is why it's taken until today to post this
and why I haven't been visiting everyone as I'd like to.
But I'll get there.
In the meantime,
I hope you are all enjoying a little sunshine wherever you are.

Hello. And how lovely to have a hound update. The sun is shining here just now, I think I'll have to get my lot out for a run.

Fun to see the hounds running around so happily! Glad you have been getting sunshine-it has been very grey here recently but today the sun has come out. I hope you didn't hurt yourself when you fell over. I am always more worried about whether anyone saw me! Hope your back gets better soon too.

Great pictures as always. The dogs prancing and running made me smile. Rufus looks the way that I would look, if I was up at 3:45! Hope your back feels better soon.

Hello Lynne:
Lovely to have another look at Rufus. Clearly the early start nearly finished him off!!

It is wonderful when the mist lifts to reveal bright sunshine, this has been the pattern of the days here for the past week or so. And, very, very cold.

So good to see all your animals enjoying the great outdoors and we do hope that your back problems resolve soon.

Dear Lynne, you still have a beautiful autumn landscape, here all we have is barren dark trees and fog and drizzle for weeks now.;)
Thank you for your lovely visits and great comments - you were very close with the bridge.;) It is however the Storebælt (Big Belt) bridge between the two Danish islands of Fyn and Sjælland.;))

Jess is beautiful! The photo of her with her head resting on Paddy's back, from your previous post, is adorable! Wonderful photo of the doggies playing together, you can see their form and their power when they run, it's marvellous to see. Jess looks like she's fitting in very well. Vanessa xxx
